Walter G. Blum Jr., went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2009. He retired from Civil Service at Kelly Air Force Base after 38 years of service and was currently working for H and R Block. He has been a member for over 42 years at Shearer Hills Baptist Church. Walter was a loving husband, daddy, paw paw, great paw paw and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by daughter, Susan Dugosh; sister, Ruby Tieken and brother, Ray Blum. Walter is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Blum; daughter, Linda Myers and husband Marshall; son, James Blum and wife Debbie; Sisters, Lindell Goyen and husband Ivan, Allene Deskin; brother, Roy Blum and wife Betty; sister-in-law, Dee Blum; grandchildren, Tabetha, Justin, Christopher, Tiffany, Chad; great grandchildren, Devin, Brian, Deja, Kobe, Heaven, Kyler, Angel, Ben and Claire.

SERVICES
A visitation will be held at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. A chapel service will be held at 12:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North on Thursday, December 31, 2009 with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park North.
