Lucille was born on February 21, 1920 in Sheboygan, a daughter of the late Herbert and Elenora (Grunewald) Boeldt.
She attended schools in Sheboygan.
On November 11, 1939 she was united in marriage to Herbert Zimmermann in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1982.
Lucille enjoyed cooking and had been a cook for the Meadow View Manor Nursing Home and the Little Red School House. She enjoyed her flower gardens, going out to eat and polka dancing on a Sunday afternoon.
Lucille was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Town Wilson and its Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Town of Wilson Homemakers Club.
Lucille is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Georgene Zimmermann of Sheboygan; two grandchildren, Todd (Lynn) Martin and Gina (Mark) Zimmermann both of Sheboygan; two great granddaughters, Hannah and Hope Zimmermann; her brothers, Howard (LaVerne) Boeldt of Sheboygan, Herbert Jr. (Betty) Boeldt of Sheboygan and Henry (LaVerta) Boeldt of Howards Grove; and a sister, Shirley Rudebeck of Sheboygan Falls. Other family and friends further survive. She was preceded in death by her brothers Russell and Gordon; a sister, Eldora De Smidt and an infant sister, Helen.
A private family service was held for Lucille at the Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home, with Rev. Frederick Jabs officiating. Entombment took place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
