Jerald Dean Schneider, 78, of St.Joseph, Ill., born Jan.27,1936, Rogers,Ark., passed away Thursday, Apr.10,2014 at his home. Jerald graduated from Rogers High School and attended college in Ark. He served as an Army combat training officer in the United States Army from Aug. of 1962 to Aug. of 1964. He had many different jobs throughout his career. He was a certified master electrician and plumber, heavy equipment operator, oil well tester, over-the-road truck driver, school bus driver and also worked for IDOT on the highway department . He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason; parents , Otto D. and Lovetta B. nee: Hopper, Schneider; and siblings, Leroy Schneider, Evetta Beaman. Surviving are his best friend and partner, Bonnie Lou Dobrinich of St.Jacob, Ill., children, Jerry(Cindy Lobe) Schneider, Kathy Taylor, Bobby Joe Schenider, Paula Morris, Susan (John) Kautzer and Edie(Bill)Bridges; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Highland Animal Shelter and can be sent to Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home, PO Box 47, St.Joseph,Ill.62281. Jerald's wishes were for no visitation or services. Burial will be at Keystone Cemetery in St.Joseph,Ill.
