After running Anderson's Grocery along with brothers Gary & John D, he retired in 1997.
He enjoyed spending his retirement with his family & friends while enjoying the outdoors, especially huckleberry picking.
Carl is survived by wife Ruth, son Craig (Sam), daughters Carla (Cliff) Walton, and Julie (Marty) Padilla. Grandson Jordan Padilla, Granddaughters: Natalie (Adam) Prevatte, Madison Padilla, Bethany Walton, and Leah Walton. Great-grandson Cole Prevatte and great-granddaughter Piper Prevatte. Sisters: Ruth (Royce) Satterlee, Karen Villareal, and brothers: Byron (Pauline), Gary (Pam), John D, and numerous nieces & nephews.
Memorial Service will be held at the Republic Presbyterian Church on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Carl's memory to the Republic Presbyterian Church or the Republic Cemetery
