Frances E. Wert Hite, 88, Palmyra, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2005, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, of natural causes. She was born in Marysville on May 1, 1917. Frances was a homemaker who in her younger days served as a practical nurse. She was very active in her church, the Victory Christian Fellowship of Palmyra. Frances loved to do word puzzles and crocheting. Frances is survived by her husband, Frank D. Hite, with whom she would have celebrated her 66th wedding anniversary on December 21st; three sons, Charles E. Hite Sr., husband of Darla of Hummelstown, James M. Hite of Palmyra, and Robert L. Hite Sr., husband of Brenda of Jonestown; two daughters, Margie S. Boughter of Jacksonville, AK, and Jennie E. Dimeler, wife of Robert of Palmyra; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by three sons, Franklin D. Hite Jr., Edward D. Hite and George T. Hite; one grandson, Charles E. Hite Jr.; and three brothers, Charles Wert, George Wert and Mervin Wert. Funeral Friday, December 23, at Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home Inc., Hummelstown, Rev. Douglas J. Pyszka, her pastor, officiating. Interment in Grand View Memorial Park. [Lebanon Daily News]
