Dennis Wayne Pollock was best known in Thomasville, Georgia as an outstanding Police Lieutenant who was there to Protect and Serve. He believed in Thomasville Police Department's Motto which is Vigilance, Truthfulness, and Tolerance. He retired from the Thomasville Police Dept. in 1998. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Florida State University and a Masters Degree from Nova University in Gainsville, Fl. He also attended the 123rd Session of the FBI Academy, graduating that session in December 1980. He was a member of the Thomasville (GA) Masonic Lodge #369 F & A M (serving as Worshipful Master in 1999), Thomasville (Ga) Exchange Club, Hasan Temple.
