Final rites for C.C. Rogers were held at 4 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan B. Cameron, pastor, officiating. He was a former peace officer, serving for 40 years in Monterrey County, Calif.
The body will be sent to Salinas, California, for interment services. Ed Brown, funeral directors, was in charge of local arrangements.
Mr. Rogers, 76, of 722 S. McGee died Wednesday morning. He was a 32nd degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; two sons, Luther of Tacoma, Washington, W.J. of Berkley, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Loretta Paulson, Lebanon, Oregon; two stepsons, Bruce Mose and Clarence Wagner, both of Farmington, N.M.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Katherine Schrantz of Amarillo; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Craig, San Augustine, and Mrs. Katie Parker, Nacogdoches, and seven grandchildren.
