STUARTS DRAFT — Danny Eugene Hearn, 64, husband of Barbara Thorn Hearn, of 56 Greenbriar Lane, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at his residence.

He was born May 8, 1949, in Staunton, a son of the late Robert and Edith (Funk) Hearn.

Prior to retirement, he was employed by Shields Construction.

In addition to his wife, family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Paula Hearn of Stuarts Draft; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Van Spangler of Stuarts Draft; three grandchildren, Caitlynn and Kerrie Hearn and Lonnie Whisten; one great-grandchild, Riley Anderson; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott and Jody Hearn of Staunton and Larry and Gloria Hearn of Ogden, Utah.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014, in Thornrose Cemetery by the Rev. Mark King.

The family will receive friends at the residence at any time.

Memorials may be made to the Stuarts Draft Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 260, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477.
