De MALLIE, Miriam R.

Miriam R. De Mallie, 88, native of Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts and long-term resident of Westport and Old Lyme, died peacefully in South Windsor on Saturday (November 1, 2008).

Known for her ability to fully complete the New York Times crossword puzzle and her grammatical expertise, she was fond of summers in Rexhame Terrace, Ma, her cousin Ralph Runels, who died in World War II, and her late sisters, Mary Eleanor and Elizabeth.
