Mr. Glen "Pete" Boyatt, age 59, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Pioneer Community Hospital of Scott in Oneida, TN. Mr. Boyatt was born on July 6, 1954, to Osa Davis Boyatt, and the late James "Crick" Boyatt. He was a lifelong logger, and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Boyatt is survived by his mother, Osa Boyatt; two children, Anthony Boyatt and Angie Boyatt; four grandchildren, Harley Boyatt, Jesse Boyatt, Zoe West and Reason West; one sister, Linda Boyatt; one brother, Clyde Watson; B.D. Boyatt, Archie Boyatt, Everett "Chig" Boyatt, Hubert Davis and Herbert Davis; three aunts, Shirley Reagan, Glennice Stephens and husband Joe, and Faye Hicks and husband George; special friends and caregivers, Jesse Stephens, Donna Cross, and Quality Home Health Care nurses and staff; and many other friends and loved ones to mourn his passing.

Friends may visit with the Boyatt Family on Tuesday evening, March 18, 2014, from 6 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8 p.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. David Gibson and Brother Jeff Boyatt officiating. Graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 11 a.m in the Foster Cross Roads Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ralph Boyatt, Floyd Boyatt, Nathan Marcum, Jessie Stephens, Derek Watson and Scottie Watson. Honorary pallbearer will be Joe Lee Stephens. In Lieu of Flowers you may make contributions to The Glen "Pete" Boyatt Memorial Fund c/o West-Murley Funeral Home
