MRS. C. BROCKSCHMIDT DIES OF BRONCHITIS
Had Lived in This City for About 57 Years-Survived by Two Sons and Three Daughters.
Mrs. Catherine Brockschmidt, widow of the late Phillip Brockschmidt, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Arning of 706 Jackson street Sunday evening at 8:45 o'clock after an illness of one week with chronic bronchitis.
The decedent was born in Hanover, Germany, February 14, 1829, and came to this country when a small child. She had resided in this city for the past 57 years. Her husband preceded her in death about 22 years. Mrs. Brockschmidt was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and of the Ladies' society of that congregation.
She is survived by two sons, Fred of Hannibal and Phillip of Grand Rapids, Mich., and three daughters. Mrs. L. A. Hall, Miss Mary. and Mrs. Henry Arning, all of this city. Twenty grandchildren and two great grandchildren also are left to mourn her passing.
