Floyd Neil Singleton

Retired Lt. Colonel Oklahoma Air National Guard

Floyd was born in rural Gentry, Arkansas and a 1954 graduate of Gentry High School.

He came to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1954 where he began attending Home Gardens Assembly of God Church (now Calvary Temple Assembly of God).
There he met his future wife, Thelma Maxey.

He and Thelma were very active in the church and Floyd served on the church board for more than 25 years. He was Superintendent of the children's Sunday School Program and served as a greeter for many years.

Floyd loved quail hunting. He was an avid bird dog trainer. He also enjoyed fishing and playing softball. He loved taking his children and grandchildren fishing.

Floyd had a keen sense of humor and a real love of practical jokes.
