Mrs. Eunice Claire Keith, age 99, of Lebanon, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born on March 19, 1913 in Upton, KY. Mrs. Keith worked as a secretary at Keith Hardware, and was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Norman Keith (2002); parents, Marcus Henry and Pearl Copelin Burks; sister, Ruth Aubrey; three brothers, Earl, Kenneth, and Herman Burks.
Survivors include two sons, John R. Keith, of Reston, VA, James S. (Virginia) Keith, of Lebanon, KY; sister, Leola Routt, of Mt. Washington, KY; brother, Russell Burks, of Connersville, IN; two grandsons, Erik (Alisha) Keith, of Leesburg, VA, Aaron (Rosathe Underwood) Keith, of Leesburg, VA; three grandchildren, Esteban Underwood, of Seattle, WA, Andre Keith, of Seattle, WA, and Annabella Keith, of Seattle, WA.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Lebanon Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. David Whitlock. Interment will be in the Upton Cemetery in Upton, KY.
