Karen Sue Oslage was born November 12, 1944 in Evansville, Indiana to Charlotte Marie Oslage. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1962. During the years of 1962 & 1963, Karen attended beauty school, graduating with a beautician's certifcation in the latter part of 1963. She owned "Karen's Beauty Shop", located at 2313 Pollack Avenue in Evansville for nearly 30 years before closing down in 1991. In 1987, Karen married Sylvester Phillip McGuinness. They divorced in 2002. Karen was employed by Wesselman's Grocery, Bakery Department, from 1998-2001, when she retired. Karen enjoyed arts & crafts, puzzles, baking, and animals. She especially loved cats & butterflies.

Karen died on September 3, 2004 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana quite suddenly of a blood clot traveling from her lungs to her heart.

Karen's remains are interred in Park Lawn Cemetery next to her mother, Charlotte Oslage White, in Evansville. She does not have a headstone.
