Kathleen A. Adamo, age 59, beloved and devoted wife of Mariano "Molly" Adamo, of Benz Street in Ansonia, passed away very peacefully with her family by her side at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Kathy was born to Jane Camillo Tuccio of Ansonia and the late Michael Tuccio.

A lifelong Ansonia resident, she was a graduate of Grace New Haven School of Nursing Class of 1966. Later she graduated from Southern Connecticut State College and Quinnipiac College with bachelor and master degrees. She had worked at the Griffin Hospital in Derby for many years, retired, and continued her nursing career at General Electric Headquarters in Fairfield. She was a devoted communicant of the Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia, where she served as a parish nurse.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a loving son, Christopher Adamo and his wife, Amy, of Seymour; a loving daughter, Lynn Giordano and her husband, Joseph, of Seymour; sister, Joanne Hallet and her husband, Edward, of Ansonia; special grandchildren, Abby, Molly, and Lauren Adamo and Nicholas and Louis Giordano; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia.
