He was born on July 31, 1929, in Bagdad, Iraq, to Guita Gerro Abbo and Shawkat Abbo, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. Antoine was a retired insurance agent with Met Life Insurance.
He loved baseball and enjoyed watching the Houston Astros. Antoine liked going across the river and enjoyed his car. He was a very kind man and always so full of life.
Antoine is survived by his wife, Shirley Abbo; children, Mary Abbo Harris, Joel Abbo and Terri Abbo Huff and her husband, Wesley; stepchildren, Jay Andrus and Tammy Andrus Kimmelman and her husband, Neil; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Sabah Abbo; sisters, Hilda Naamo and Gladys Bahosh.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Celine Abbo and Yvonne Debrahender.
