Altoona Mirror, Thursday Evening, January 1, 1925: WILLIAM S. WAGNER
A lifelong resident of Morrisons Cove, died at his home on Railroad street, Martinsburg, last night at 10:20 o'clock, death being attributed to enlargement of the heart. He was born on Clover Creek, June 20, [1858?], the son of John and Mrs. Susan Wagner, both now deceased. For a number of years he was employed be the Pennsylvania Railroad company in the shops in this city but for the past several years was unable to follow his employment due to ill health. He was united in marriage on Nov. 12, 1888, with Miss Mary Elizabeth Greaser, who survives, with these children: Jacob Wagner of Martinsburg ; [Burald?] G., and Levi H., both at home, and one daughter, Mrs. Robert Mock of Martinsburg, and these brothers and sisters: Andrew and Geary Wagner of Williamsburg, Harry Wagner of Martinsburg and Grant Wagner of Roaring Spring, R.F.D., and Mrs. Maggie Kauffman of Curryville and Mrs. Homer Frederick of Henrietta. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock and interment will be made in the Fairview cemetery in Martinsburg.
