of Thurmont, died Friday,January 16,1981 at his home.
He was born in Frederick County, a son of the late Ira E. and Grace M. (Misner) Lewis.
Mr. Lewis was a member of the Grossnickle Church of the Brethren,and employed at Pangborn Corporation,Hagerstown,as a stock clerk.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred (Smith)Lewis; one son,
Arthur Lewis
of Myersville, two step sons Harris Lewis of Thurmont and Pierce Lewis, Kewaskum,Wis.; two step daughters, Mrs. Ada Keedy, Hagerstown, and Christine Henry, Gettysburg,Pa.; one brother, Ira Elwood (Junior) Lewis, Myersville; four sisters, Beatrice Covell and Lorraine Marker, both of Myersville, and Lucy Horner and Betty Smith, both of Orlando, Fla., three half brothers, Altlee Green and John Green,both of Libertytown, and Commodore Green of Hagerstown;two half sisters,Fannie Hays, Smithsburg, and Ivy Wolfe, Libertytown.; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Interment was in Grossnickle Church of the Brethren Cemetery, near Myersville.
