Isabelle Adkins, 82, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 21 2012. She served for over 20 years, first as a juvenile probation officer and later as an adult probation officer. Isabelle was a master angler and loved spending time with her many children and grandchildren. Originally from Huntington, West Virginia, she and her husband moved to Colorado Springs in 1966. Isabelle was a long time parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was generous with her time and skills, and charitable with those in need. Her outgoing spirit, her sharp sense of humor and her love and warmth will be greatly missed. Isabelle is survived by her children George (Maggy), Eddie, Catherine (Brian), Chris, Karen (Lindy) and her grandchildren Daniel (Megan), Kevin and Elisabeth. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Edwin, and her daughter-in-law Diana. Visitation will be Thursday, October 25 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Cappadona Funeral Home at 1020 East Fillmore Street. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 3122 Poinsetta Drive on Tuesday, October 30 2012 at 11:00 AM.
