Lawrence Lee Goodin, age 56 years, of Pine Knot, Kentucky died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held December 17, 2012 at 1pm at the McCreary County Funeral Home with Bro. Dow Goodin officiating.
Lawrence was born March 26, 1956, in McCreary County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Thomas and Amanda (Taylor) Goodin.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Thomas and Amanda Taylor Goodin, His brothers, Marshall Goodin and Richard Goodin. His Grandson Jubal Garland also precedes him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Vanover Goodin Pine Knot, Kentucky; and the following children; Tommy Vanover, Strunk, Kentucky; Jimmy Vanover Whitley City, Kentucky; James Vanover Pine Knot, Kentucky; Teresa Garland and husband Curtis Whitley City, Kentucky; Sherry Goodin Pine Knot, Kentucky; and Ovada Goodin Cincinnati, Ohio. The following brothers and sisters also survives Kenneth Goodin and wife Edna, Waynesburg, Kentucky; Jeff Goodin and wife Gayle Stanford, Kentucky; Ronald Goodin and wife Crystal Eubank, Kentucky; Thurstle Taylor Parkers Lake, Kentucky; Mary Goodin, Linda Goodin; Sharon Goodin, and Becky Stull and husband Junior all of Waynesburg, Kentucky. 6 grandchildren and 1 Great grandchild also survives.
