Mr Stuhr has joined his beloved wife in eternity. He was the son of Amelia Billman & Harry Stuhr. He grew up in Chicago & married Eileen Stupay on 25 Sep 1954. Their marriage was a true love story that lasted over 57 years & was blessed w/3 children.
Mr Stuhr was employed by the Walgreen Company for 45 years. After his retirement he moved his wife to their "little corner of paradise" in Mountain Home, AR in 1993 where they both made many friends. He enjoyed bowling, collecting coins, attending garage / estate sales & gardening. Nothing was more important to him than his family. After losing the love of his life in 2012, he split his living arrangements between his home in Mountain Home, AR & w/his daughter Diane Solava aw/husband Steve. He will forever be remembered as a very happy loving man whose happiest moments were when he was in the company of his entire family, which usually happened around the holidays.
Mr Stuhr is survived by his kids: Diane (Stephen) Solava, Bradley (Dawn) Stuhr of Belvidere, & Susan (Steven) Coolidge; grkids: Kimberly (Joshua) Robertson, Clayton & Cady Coolidge, Bradley (Jeanette) Stuhr, Ryan & Skye (Nicolaus Weyrauch) Solava; gr-grdaughters Elaina Stuhr & Eden Robertson. He is further survived by b-in-l's Larry (Beatrice) & Jerry (Gloria) Stupay; as well as nieces, nephew & many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eileen; parents; step-mother Julia Stuhr; mother-in-law Blanche Howard & nephew David Stupay.
A Celebration of Life Service was be held at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church w/Father Michael Richel.
