Mrs. Mary O. Casey Moffatt, age 91, a resident of Union City, TN, died Saturday morning, February 22, 2014, at the Obion County Nursing Home.
Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m. Monday in East View Cemetery. Lonnie Grady will officiate.
Visitation will be Monday from 9-10:45 a.m. at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
She was born March 27, 1922, in Union City, daughter of the late Clinton B. and Beulah (McCoy) Zimmerman. She married T.R. Casey June 14, 1942. He died June 4, 1958. She then married Jack Moffatt in January 1980. He died Dec. 24, 2004. She had worked for South Central Bell for more than 30 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of Berea Church of Christ and was a life member of Telephone Pioneers and the local hospital auxiliary. She had been a member of the former Business and Professional Women's Club.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Sally Casey of Union City and Thomas and Patricia Casey of Dunwoody, Ga.; two stepsons and their wives, Michael and Eloise Moffatt of Memphis and John and Mary Jo Moffatt of Dahlonega, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Debi Casey; and her brother, Jim Zimmerman.
