Nannie was born a twin in Macon, Noxubee County, Mississippi on May 25, 1872 to Texana Williams Campbell and William M. Campbell. Her twin sister's name was Mary per her Bible.
Texana and baby Mary died 16 days later on June 10, 1872, and Mary was buried with mother Texana. Nannie went to live with her grandparents, J.C. Williams and Nancy Forester Williams. This researcher has no clue what happened to father William M. Campbell. If anyone has info please let me know.
