NEW ALBANY REYNOLDS, MARJORIE E., 85, passed away Sunday at Floyd Memorial Hospital. She was the former Marjorie E. Mount, a native of Glendale, KY and a retired reading tutor at S. Ellen Jones Elementary School. She was a member and longtime Sunday school teacher at Culbertson Baptist Church, a former member of the Louisville Iris Society, a writer and a poet. She was preceded in death by her son, David W. Reynolds II and two brothers, Harold Fletcher and Everette A. Mount. She is survived by her husband, David W. Reynolds; a son, Michael E. Reynolds of Taos, NM; two daughters, Mara Lee Baumgartle and Charlotte Teresa Reynolds, both of New Albany; two sisters, Thelma Helm and Ruby Seymour both of Louisville; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, with interment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Culbertson Baptist Church.
