Born July 12, 1966, in McCreary County, he was a son of Jeanette Wood and the late
Bradley Brooks. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.Preceding him in death were
his father; an infant daughter; a brother, Paul Brooks; and two sisters, Shirley Young and Willa Jean Ferrier.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Wood, Greenville, Tenn.; two children, Timothy Ray Wood and Christie Wood, both of Somerset; his mother, Jeanette Wood; five brothers, Larry Wood and Steve Carter, both of Whitley City, Lonnie Wood and Bruce Stephens, both of Pine Knot, and Lenville Carter, Murfreesboro, Tenn , and three sisters, Gail Taylor and Vickie Chitwood, both of Oneida, and Wanda Meyers,
