Ida was married on February 19, 1939 in St. Joseph's Church, Matamoras, Pa. to Mr. Edwin J. Aber who died April
26, 2000.
Ida worked as a Weaver for Volcanson Silk Mill, Port Jervis. She also worked for Woolworth's 5 & 10 (Five and Dime) , Newberry's, and J.C. Penny all once in Orange County across the Delaware River in Port Jervis.
She was a devout member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Matamoras, Pa.
Surviving are a far away son, George D. Aber & his wife Sandy of So. Australia;
brother Gino Carmen Di Spirito ( Now deceased in 2014) & his wife Mrs. Mary Jesse Di Spirito of Bergen County, the Borough of Park Ridge, New Jersey ; granddaughter, Jennifer Lott & her husband Darryl of Jacksonville, FL; two great grandsons: Antonio Mesa & Donovan Lott of Jacksonville, FL; nieces & nephews, brother-in-law, John Hicks of North
Manchester, Ind.; brother-in-law, John Yanushka of Bethlehem, Pa. She was predeceased by two sisters: Marie
Hicks & Eva Yanushka. Family/Friends called at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. Main St., Orange County, Port Jervis on Thursday, September 23, 2004 from 2- 4 & 7- 9
p.m.Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 24 with a 9 a.m. prayer at the funeral home followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Pike County, Matamoras, Pa. with the Rev.
August A. Ricciardi officiating.Burial will be at St.Mary's Cemetery, Orange County, Port Jervis, NY.
