Storm Charles Achenbach, 63, of Pine Grove and formerly of Jonestown, passed away on February 15, 2014, after a very brief illness, with his loving family surrounding him.
Born on June 20, 1950, in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Charles I. and Meryl Thome Achenbach.
He graduated from Lebanon HS in 1968. Storm was a member of the Lebanon Valley Pigeon Club until it disbanded in 2010. He was a current member of the Pine Grove Pigeon Club. He retired from Hershey Chocolate USA in July 2012.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Krystal and his three sons Ryan Achenbach of Lebanon and twims Kyle Achenbach of Pine Grove, with whom he lived and Marine Corporal Justin Achenbach and his wife Maria of Jacksonville, NC.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Achenbach and his sister Beldaire Nye.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lickdale, on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 11:30 AM, followed by a time of remembering, in his honor.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family to help defray the funeral cost.
