James Winston Fawcett was the infant son of George Rawes Fawcett and Sarah Ann Williams. He died of cholera on 7 August 1900, at the age of six months.
James was the third of four Fawcett children who would die before reaching the age of four (the others were Edna Rawes Fawcett, Roy Williams Fawcett and George Rawes Fawcett). Two children (Marjorie Isobel Fawcett and James Waldon Fawcett) survived to adulthood.
