Catherine L. (Edmiston) White Bloodgood, 58, of Hull, Illinois, died at 11:42 AM Monday, February 10, 2014 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Hannibal, MO. Father Mike Quinn will officiate. Burial will be at Kinderhook Cemetery in Kinderhook, IL.

Catherine (Cathy) was born February 4, 1956, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Hannibal, MO to William Murray and Doretta Lucille (Keim) Edmiston.

She married Dan E. White in Hannibal, MO on August 15, 1981 and he preceded her in death on August 19, 2007. She then married Charles L. Bloodgood on October 9, 2010 in Hull, IL. He survives.

Other survivors include 1 sister, Nancy (Larry) Weitekamp of Raymond, IL, 7 nieces and nephews; Kim (David) Gray, Brett (Cara) Weitekamp, Ryan, Austin, Kayla, Lauren and Kaitlin Weitekamp and 8 great nieces and great nephews, 1 uncle, 1 aunt and several cousins and many friends. She was also survived by her second husband's three children and his 5 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 son; Scott Dan White and her first husband, Dan E. White.

Catherine was a graduate of West Pike High School in 1974, and a graduate of Western Illinois University in 1977 with a degree in special education. Catherine was a school teacher for 31 years, teaching special education in Palmyra, MO and most recently at Western Junior High School for four years. She loved to read cook books and was a talented cook. Catherine also enjoyed making tie blankets and playing with her dog, Gus. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
