Evelyn J. Adkins
Evelyn J. Adkins, 72, of Bloomington, died Sunday at Bloomington Convalescent Center.
Born Aug. 11, 1923, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Orville J. and Elva (McCutcheon) Adkins. She was retired from the Indiana University housekeeping department. She was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include one sister, Mildred Livingston of Bloomington; two brothers, Russell Adkins and James Adkins, both of Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Adkins and Orville Adkins; and one sister Katherine Adkins.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Hensley officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
Friends may call 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
