Mary Christena (Kline) Renninger Overly, 96, of Frederick, and formerly of Pennsburg died Friday, March 31, 2017 at Grand View Hospital. She was the widow of John H. Renninger and James Wylie Overly. Born in Upper Hanover Township, she was a daughter of the late Oliver H. and Nora S. (Hillegass) Kline.

She farmed on her property at three farms and worked at the former American Store, Pennsburg and Acme Markets. She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ and the former Pennsylvania State Grange in Red Hill and the Patriotic Order of America. She also worked at the Upper Hanover Township Voting Polls on Election Day and volunteered for Meals On Wheels.

Survivors: Christena "Tena" M., wife of Larry Boardman of Pennsburg and Jay H. Renninger and wife, Mary-Lew (Meadowcroft) of Bally; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. Two sisters, Nora Garges and Ellen Kline and step-brothers, Abner and Mark and step-sister, Edith predeceased her.

Services: 1:00 p.m. Wed., April 5, 2017 at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, PA 18041 with the Rev. Cydney VanDyke officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery. Viewing 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 and 12 noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at church.
