Jean L. Booser, 88, formerly of Penbrook died Friday, January 31, 2014 in Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth, PA.
Born December 27, 1925 in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Florence E. (Meredith) Etzweiler.
Personal: Her husband, John Richard "Dick" Booser died in 2007. She graduated from John Harris High School where she excelled in archery. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed vacationing in Atlantic City and Virginia Beach.
Memberships: Jean was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Penbrook; the Termites Club; and the Penbrook Swim Club.
Survivors: A son, Richard W. Booser and his wife, Elizabeth; four grandchildren, Eric, Kate, Kyle, and Ethan; and a great granddaughter.
Services: 11:00AM Friday in the church, 2730 Booser Ave., Penbrook. A visitation will be held from 10:30AM until service time Friday in the church. Interment will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton is handling the arrangements.
