Ellis Arey, 21, drove from a Moulton-st residence to a Greenville hospital this afternoon, walked into the building and a few minutes later was dead from what physicians said was a dose of deadly poison.

The young man, said to reside about four miles west of the city, talked to his wife at the Moulton-st home shortly before he went to the hospital. He refused to discuss the reason for his action and told hospital attendants it wasn't necessary to call members of his family.

Funeral arrangements have not been made.
