Cecelia "Sally" R. Quirk, age 98, of Jordan died Thursday, Oct.12, 2000 at The Lutheran Home, Belle Plaine.
She was born Feb. 2, 1902 in Sand Creek Township, the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Hartman) Klehr.
She married Albert Theis on Aug. 23, 1921. Albert died Nov. 17, 1950.
She married John Quirk on June 12, 1956. John died June 30, 1961.
Survivors include daughters Luella Pauly of Jordan and Marline Liffick of Tacoma, Washington; son Roger and wife Kay Theis of New Ulm; daughter-in-law Mary Theis of Mankato: 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters Lorraine Borka of Prior Lake and Magdlin Kroyer of Shakopee; sisters-in-law Agnes Klehr of Belle Plaine and Mary Klehr of Shakopee; brother-in-law Hugo Hennes of Shakopee.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Theis; husband John Quirk; parents Jacob and Mary (Hartman) Klehr; sons Eldred and Elmer.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000, at St. Mary of the Purification Catholic Church in Marystown, Fr. John Gilbert and Fr. John Mitchell presided.
Pallbearers were Jerry Pauly, Donald Pauly, Richard Pauly, Nathan Wittenberg, Robert Theis, and Jayson Pauly.
Interment was at Marystown Catholic Cemetery, Marystown. Funeral arrangements by Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Jordan.
