A native of Decaturville, Tenn., she had lived in Fresno since 1938. She previously had made her home in Coachella, Riverside
County. Mrs. Lafferty was a member of the Monmouth United Presbyterian Church. She and her husband, Charles A., a retired farmer, observed their 53rd wedding anniversary this month.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son, James V. Taylor
of Fresno; three daughters, Mrs. Margie Hall, Mrs. Frances Connors
and Ida Lee, all of Fresno; a brother Ben Goodman of Memphis
Tenn; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
She was the daughter of John Decatur Goodman and Francis Alsinda Okley.
