Trinnie was the daughter of Elzie Edmond Ward and Mary Jane Scarberry Castle Ward. Trinnie had children with Charley Dollarhide (Flossie Smith), Horatio Seymour Boling (Goldie May Stanley & Sara Frances "Frankie" Rowe) James Preston Jennings (Margie Newberry, Mary Jane Robinette, Elzie Jennings, Living Jennings, & James Preston "Baby Jay" Jennings who died as a toddler). Trinnie died at her daughter Goldie's house on April Fools Day 1951. She was a fabulous cook and cooked at the boarding house owned by J.P. Jennings for his lumber crew in Coalwood. She was also known throughout the county as a seamstress. Trinnie was married to Aldie Steel at the time of her death.
