Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 3, 1966 The Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Harry E. Gadway, 62, a resident of the Syracuse Rd., died Tuesday at Oswego Hospital after admittance on Monday. He had been in poor health for the past three years. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church with the Rev. Thomas P. Whalen, pastor, celebrant of Requiem Mass. The recitation of the Rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Taylor Funeral Home, with calling hours on Wednesday from 7 to 9, and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery in the spring. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maude Peets Gadway; one son, Robert Gadway of Pulaski; three grandchildren, and one niece, Mary Rita Downs of Saranac. Mr. Gadway was born at Merrill on May 20, 1903, the son of Dennis and Margaret Mahoney Gadway. They resided at Merrill, where they owned and operated a farm, until 14 years ago when they moved to their present home. He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
