ABRIGHACH Heather Aubry Whitman Heather Abrighach, age 41, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014, after a brief illness. She was born in Toledo Ohio on January 17, 1973, and graduated from Notre Dame Academy and the University of Toledo. Of her many accomplishments, Heather was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Germany. Later, while living in Germany, where she worked in early childhood development, she met her husband, Raouf. She was no stranger to travel; Ireland, Germany and Morocco were some of her destinations and "homes away from home". Heather had many friends both at home and internationally, who will all dearly miss her. She was currently employed at the Ohio Council of Community Schools (OCCS) and leaves many co-workers who have also become her cherished friends. Heather is survived by her loving husband, Roauf; daughters, Teelilly Ruth, and Saoirse Yamina - the joys of her life and heart; mother, Janet (Jim) Lankey; father, Randy (Sharon) Whitman; brothers, Dustin and Dylan (Markeeda) Whitman; nieces, Harmony and Hailo Whitman; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Yamina and Chaib Abrighach of Nador Morocco; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Germany and in Morocco, Mohamed (Salwa), Brahim, Halim (Salima), Rabia (Abdelkader), Fatim (Malek), and the many nieces and nephews of the Abrighach family.
