Theresa Alberts, age 87 passed away January 3, 2014 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born February 2, 1926 in LaChaine Quebec Canada to the late Joseph Luc and Florence (Clement) Vandette.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and Daughters of Isabella.
On August 19, 1950 she married Russell Alberts who preceded her in death on August 27, 2001.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, David and Karen Alberts of Southhaven, Mississippi and Chris Alberts of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Mike Glaus of Sikeston; one brother, Andre` Vandette of Dorval Quebec Canada; three grandchildren, Russell Alberts, Joshua Glaus and Michaela Glaus; and three great grandchildren.
One son, Marc Joseph Alberts, preceded her in death.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Msgr. William Stanton officiating.
Private interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
