Pearl M. Roach, 93, of Antioch, died Aug. 6 at St. Joseph's Home in Kenosha, Wis.

She was born Aug. 12, 1915, in Ironwood, Mich., the daughter of the late Anselm and Lisa (Tuurihalmi) Maki.

She moved to Antioch in 1957, where she was a member of St. Peter Church and the Council of Catholic Women. Pearl also had been active with the Women of the Moose Chapter No. 735 of Antioch; the AARP Antioch Chapter No. 387; and the Antioch Senior Center.

Before her retirement, she worked as a decorator and assembler for Frostee-Sno in Antioch. Her special interests included gardening, watching sports and arts and crafts.

On Dec. 30, 1939. she married John Roach in Highwood, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1984.

Survivors include her children, Patrick of Cary, N.C., John of Antioch, Margaret (Thomas) Burda of Deerfield and Edward (Terri) of Bristol, Wis.; her nine grandchildren, Rachell (Joe), Colleen (Tom), Michael (Liz), Kathleen (Andy), Matthew, Brian, Jennifer, Chris and Jeff; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services with Mass of Christian Burial were Aug. 11 at St. Peter Church in Antioch, with interment following at Hillside Cemetery in Antioch.
