Ray C. Dunaway, age 65, of Richmond, formerly of Estill County, passed away Thursday, February 4, 1993, at the Central Baptist Hospital after a short illness. He was born May 30, 1927 in Estill County, the son of Bertha B. Tipton Dunaway and the late Alfred Roy Dunaway. He was a retired builder and a member of the Mount Carmel Christian Church. He had lived in Richmond for the past 17 years.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, February 7, at 3:00 p.m. at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Mike Whitacre and Bro. Fred Whitacre. Burial was in the Tipton Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Wise, Jeff Dunaway, Alfred Earl Gentry, Larry Chitchfield, James Ray Keeton and Shane Garrett.
