Carol Ann Campbell, 62, of Willard, Missouri passed away after a short battle with cancer.

She was born to Harold and Velma Wilson. Carol graduated from Derby High School. She married Marshall Campbell of Morrisville, Missouri on June 18, 1970.

Carol was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her love for the Lord and her faith were unwavering, even in times of trial. She was involved with and loved her church family at the Willard Community Christian Church. She was previously a member of the Worldwide Church of God. Her favorite bible verse was Romans 8:1, and spoke often of how much this verse meant to her: "Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

Carol is survived by her husband of 43 years Marshall; three sons, Scott (Shannon) of Springfield, Travis (Stacy) of Springfield, and Brock (April) of Wichita; brothers Glen Wilson and Carl Wilson; grandchildren Lee, Gus, Careena, Garrett, Honor and Brogan; and many nieces and nephews.

Those preceding her in death are her parents, Harold and Velma Wilson; one sister, Lois Wilson Shaon; and one brother, Larry Dean Wilson.

Memorial services were held at the Willard Community Christian Church, 309 Proctor Rd. at 10:00 on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 by Pastor Dakota Rush. Music selections; "In You" by Mercy Me; "Save A Place For Me" by Matthew West; and "Going Away Party" by Jeff and Sheri Easter.

"We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and present with the Lord." -- 2 Cor. 5:8 NKJV
