Nick was a LAPD Officer in the Devonshier Division(Northridge) that was killed in the line of duty, He was responding to a robbery of Mc Donalds in Northridge, as he opened the door the teenaged gunman fired 6 times at Nick ,He was hit 5 times and he died a short time later at Northridge Medical Center... Nick received the Medal of Valor after his death for another case, in which he and partners saved small children from a burning home.He left behind his wife Linda and 2 small children Nick and Nicole
