Gussie Bell Vaughn Gregory was born July 20, 1923 and went to meet her savior on Saturday, January 4, 2014 having reached the age of 90 years.
She was the daughter of the late Charlie Vaughn and Jane (Gregory) Vaughn.
She was united in marriage to Coolidge Gregory on May 29, 1943 and to this union 7 children were born.
She is survived by: 3 sons, Lowell (wife Josie) Gregory, George (wife Ruthy) Gregory, and Mac (wife Geneva) Gregory; 2 daughters, Anna Ruth (husband Milton) Vaughn and Betty (husband Hank) Trammell. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 18 great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Charlie and Jane Vaughn; 2 sons, Dean and Charlie Dean Gregory; 1 brother, Leo Gregory, and 5 grandchildren.
She was a life long member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative, and friend that will sadly missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 6, 2014 after 5pm at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at 12pm at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Silas Gregory and Bro. George Gregory, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Bud Gregory Cemetery.
