SPRING GROVE — Horace L Nace, husband of Lucy Trone Nace (20 May 1940) 174 Highland Ave., Spring Grove, died at 6:12 pm Saturday at York Hospital. He was 69.
Mr Nace was bom in North Codorus Township, a son of the late William and Lizzie Ruppert Nace. He was employed 45 years at the P H Glatfelter Co., having retired in 1966. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club at the Glatfelter plant.
Also surviving are five children, Paul W. Nace, Milford, Conn. and Charles H., John G., Ethel M., and Mary L Nace all at home; a stepson Norman L. Wantz ,Jefferson; two grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, a brother Ervin W Nace, York RD 1, and four sisters, Mrs Beulah Baugher, Jefferson, and Mrs John Favorite, Mrs Lida Myers and Henrietta Nace all of Hanover.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday at the Sauter Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove. The Rev. William D. Kaufmann, pastor of Bethany Assembly of God, Spring Grove, will officiate. Interment will be in St Peter's (Lischey's) Cemetery.
