Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Samnorwood Baptist Church in Samnorwood with the Rev. Lloyd Stice of Post and the Rev. Richie Brotherton of Stratford officiating. Burial will be in Dozier Cemetery in Dozier by Wright Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Murry was born May 11, 1906, in Parker County to Alfred and Precious Rutledge. She married Frank James Murry on May 27, 1925, in Adell. He preceded her in death on March 8, 1987. Mrs. Murry had lived in the Dozier community since 1926. She was a nurse at Shamrock General Hospital for 20 years and worked at the Care Inn of Shamrock for 10 years.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, James Alfred Murry and Mac Murry and a daughter, Sonna Endsley.
Survivors include a son, Randall Murry of Dumas; three grandchildren, Laura Meinzer of Mansfield, Angela Murry of Dallas and Duke Murry of El Paso; and two sisters, Frankie Ensley of Fort Worth and Opal Cooper of Weatherford.
