Adkins, Larry Ray, of Tustin, CA, died December 7th of complications from multiple myeloma. He was 74. Larry grew up in Texas and received a PhD in physics from the U. of Texas at Austin. He worked for Rockwell International in Anaheim and taught astronomy at Cerritos College. Larry was an avid traveler, an award-winning amateur photographer, and an archaeoastronomer involved with the discovery of Temple of the Fox in Peru. He is survived by his wife, Lorna; his son, Kevin Adkins of Jersey City, NJ; his son, "Greg Adkins" and wife Rebecca of Altadena, CA; his sister, Joyce Brooks of Great Bend, KS; a niece, Karen Clark of Great Bend; a nephew, Ray Brooks of Brownfield, TX; and two honorary grandchildren, Jessamine and Conlan McLarty-Schroeder, and their parents, Steve and Janet of Anaheim, CA.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday December 14th at the Episcopal Church of the Messiah, 614 N.
