Carolee held a bachelor’s degree in Medieval History after going back to college in her mid-forties. She worked as the Public Relations Director at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago for a number of years. She later collaborated on writing a book titled “ The Ark in the Park”, which is the story and history of the Lincoln Park Zoo.
A memorial service and burial was held on December 30.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Rose Staffin, and her sister Stephanie Cragg.
