Elsie M. Dikeman, 83, a resident of Bethany-Riverside Nursing Facility, La Crosse, and formerly of Hokah, MN, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 1994, in the nursing facility. She was born May 21, 1911, in the Spring Grove, MN, to William and Alfleda (Carrier) Blexrud. Elsie was a member of Zion Evangelical Church, Hokah, and was a member of the Women's Guild. She had worked at Electric Auto-Lite and St. Francis Hospital, both of La Crosse..

Elsie is survived by a daughter, Ione (Dennis) Sanden of Houston, MN; a son, Richard Dikeman of Hokah, MN; a grandson, Travis; and a sister, Hazel Blexrud of La Crosse..

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug 24, in Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, La Crescent, MN. The Rev. Dale Ruosch will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Hokah. Friends may call from 1 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday, in the funeral home.
