Mrs. Louise Large, 67, resident of RD 1, Belmont, for 18 years, died suddenly Friday, August 26th, at 12:30 p.m. at her home. Born in Benwood, W. Va., on July 22, 1899, she was a daughter of John and Augusta Sweitzer Butler. She was a member of the First Christian Church at Shadyside, but attended the Morristown Christian Church. Mrs. Large was treasurer of the Women's Republican Club. In 1925 she was married to E. G. Large,
who survives at the home; one son, Edward W. Large of RD 1, Belmont; two brothers, John Butler of Newcomerstown, Robert Butler of Meadville, Pa.; six sisters, Mrs. Emma Lowman of Bellaire, Mrs. Knox (Matilda) Alexander of Neffs, Mrs. Albert (Minnie) Long of Shadyside, Mrs. Kenneth (Thelma) Schramm of Bellaire, Mrs. John (Pauline) Bunfill of Shadyside and Mrs. Edna Wood of Columbus. The remains were taken to the Barr-Milner Funeral Home in Morristown where friends were received. Funeral services were held at the funeral home Monday, August 29th at 2 p.m. (DST). The Reverend Farrell Walters of Bethany College, Bethany, W. Va., conducted the services. Burial was made in Morristown Union Cemetery.
